culture and society, history and archaeology of Nepal, Tibet and the 
Himalayan region.

Specialized interests for research and teaching:
Tibet and Himalayan studies (political history, arts and cultures), 
economic and social history of Nepal, numismatics and religion/religions 
of South Asia, archival study and historical and cultural preservation in 
Nepal.
