Description of work:
Commentator and author covering the area of art and culture; research 
includes a select study on the impact of the west on Indian art; 
contributes notes and articles to various dailies of national and 
international importance; publications include writings featuring notable 
contemporary Indian artists such as Jamini Roy, Benode Behari Mukherjee 
and Kanwal Krishna, and one titles Indian Artifacts; writing mostly in 
English though also in Bengali at times; presently engaged in a limited 
investigation as to the history of Indo-American cultural interations and 
exchanges.
