description of work:
Research on synchronic and historical linguistics of Tibeto-Burman
languages, especially Tibetan.  I also work on TB languages of Nepal,
especially Newari and Kiranti languages, and of India, especially Kinnauri
and related languages, Dafla, Mishmi and Naga languages of Arunachal
Pradesh, and Mizo and other Kuki-Chin languages of Mizoram and Burma.
