Languages: In addition to English, also fluency in Malay and Chinese. 
Able to speak several Chinese dialects, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, 
Taiwanese, and Hakka.

Research Interests: Social influence process; compliance-gaining 
behavior; attitudes toward elderly persons; sociocultural factors of 
behavior disorder; social power and strategy; deceptive behavior; social 
psychology across cultures; law and psychology; decision-making process; 
psychology and faith; group leadership and dynamics.

I have taught and also conducted studies (group dynamics) comparing the 
East and South Asia -- especially with India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. 
In fact, one of my most recent studies is related to comparing the family 
system (and culture) between India and the United States.
