General research interests are in South Asian religions, particularly
devotional movements and tantric traditions in the Hindi speaking regions.
Continuing work in sant traditions and guru-disciple relationships. New
interests in Hindi and Urdu Literature. Current research project on
popular esoteric traditions of householder Naths in Rajasthan, India.
