description of work: 
I have been working in Tribhuvan University, Department of the
Sociology/Anthropology in Kathmandu Nepal. In addition I have been
involved in the anthropological field works in Nepal on the different
ethnic groups of Nepal. My interest area for further research consists of
ethno-politics, national integration, natural resource management and
social change. My PhD research was on the Chepangs of Nepal.
