Employment : Lecturer in Post-graduate Department of Political Science,
             Nagpur University (India) since 1986.
PRESENTLY : Visiting Fellow at Institute of Conflict Analysis & Resolution
            George Mason University, Fairfax, VA 22030-4444. USA.
            I have been selected by the Rotary Foundation as one of the 50
            Paul Harris Scholars from all over the World for 1997-98. As a
            Rotary Scholar I shall work as a Cultural Ambassador &
            Ambassador of Peace & Goodwill exchanging views, meeting
            people, developing friendship between people of different
            cultures and spreading the message of peace given by Hinduism.
            As a Visiting Fellow at ICAR, I shall write research-papers &
            hold seminars on South Asian Politics & Conflict Resolution. 
Interests : (1) Main : SAARC as an organization & its conflict resolution
            mechanism; Cultural, Religious, Economic issues of South Asia;
            Terrorism, Arms Race, Nuclear Policies of South Asia; South
            Asia as a Zone of Peace, US policy towards South Asia and
            Development of SAARC on the lines of EEC and Creation of a
            South Asian Identity and Spirit. 
            (2) Secondary : India, Indian Politics, Indian Philosophy,
            Culture, Hinduism and commonalities in different religions.
            (3) Other : Indian music & dance, movies, Marathi plays &
            literature, Travel, Photography, All types of Food & Pets. 
 
I have published some articles and written a textbook for open University
in Maharashtra. I have been writing a regular column in a news paper in
Nagpur on international events. I am also associated with some social &
educational organisations in Nagpur. I do not claim to be an authority on
the subjects mentioned above. I am young and wish to communicate with
others & specially other Scholars on South Asia & Hinduism.
