Comparative literature East-West, specializing in the history of 
narrative, the novel and epic. Research languages: Tibetan, Chinese, 
Sanskrit, French, Russian, Classical Greek, a little German. Tibetan 
translation. Specialist in Buddhism and Buddhist literature. I am 
presently translating a Buddhist version of the Tibetan Epic of Gesar of 
Ling. Chinese novel. Taoism. Indian epic.
