Description of work:

As an extra-academic activity, but addressed to the academic members, I
teach also the sadhana, which is an interreligious and intercultural method
of meditation developed by Fr. Anthony de Mello SJ. It consists of
practical sessions in the form of a seminar.

I have also a lectureship at the University of Neuchâtel where I
teach
almost the same subjects as at the University of Fribourg. The main fields
of my teaching and research activities are:
1. Hinduism
2. Buddhism
3. Islam
4. Comparative religions, comparing these three religions to Christianity.

I direct the Institute of Missiology and Science of Religions. As a
teaching work of Missiology I give regular courses on History of the
Mission and the approaches towards the different cultures and religions.
Teaching and research is on all academic levels starting from the
licentiate up to the postgraduate.

2. Some of the keywords are Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, interreligious
dialogue, mission, missiology, theology of religions, sadhana, meditation,
interreligious meditation.
