Research: Advaita Vedanta, Sankara and post-Sankara Advaita; Madhusudana 
Sarasvati, Narayana Tirtha, and their attempt to integrate Advaita and 
Krsna bhakti; Vaisnava Vedanta traditions; Kashmir Saivism; ecology and 
religion in South Asia; religion and the environment; Hindu-Christian 
encounter in India, Hindu-Christian dialogue; Sanskrit.
