Coordinating editor for South Asia of the bibliographical database
entitled ABIA South and Southeast Asian Art and Archaeology Index. Art
historian and Indologist. Research interests: South Asian arts, and more
specifically ancient Indian numismatics. Ph.D. thesis (1991) on gold coins
of the Gupta period (Gupta gold coins with a Garudadhvaja: Samudragupta to
Skandagupta).
