Description of work:
I've created a number of photo series in Asia. "Here & There" is a group 
of color panoramas of various interiors, both sacred and secular. "In 
Camera," also color panoramas, concerns itself with old photo studios in 
Vietnam, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

I spent time in Vietnam and in 1995-5 had an Asian Cultural Council 
Fellowship Grant to work with Vietnamese photographers; spent 1999-2000 on 
a Fulbright photographing in Sri Lanka and India; and am currently working 
on a grant from the American Institute of Sri Lankan Studies (AISLS) 
shooting the film industry in Sri Lanka.

I teach photography at both the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and 
Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. I graduated with a BA from Barnard College 
(majoring in Architectural History) and an MFA (in photography) from 
Pratt.
