Description of work:

I have been working in the areas of Social Stratification, Peasant and 
Tribal Movement, and Sociology of Law and Legal Profession. I have 
written a book on Sri Lanka entitled "Society and Polity in Modern Sri 
Lanka" and a couple of articles relating to Ethnic Problems in Sri Lanka. 
My other books and articles are related to the themes of Caste-Class 
Nexus in Modern Sri Lanka.
