Description of work:

I specialize in Hindu Traditions and South Asian religions, with a 
research focus on Shaiva Tantra, specifically the Garuda and Bhuta 
Tantras. My dissertation is a diachronic study of snakebite medicine in 
South Asia centered upon manuscript work on the surviving Garuda Tantras.
