Description of work:

My main research and teaching work is in Indian philosophy with special
emphasis on the Saiva Siddhanta brand of Saivism and Jaina philosophy. In
recent years I have been concentrating particularly on Jainism. The
languages I teach are Sanskrit, Hindi, Gujarati. I am also especially
interested in translating German works on Indology into English.
