Description of work:
Teaching assignments in Indo-Pakistan history from prehistoric to present 
times and Indo-Pakistan women's studies. Research project in decipherment 
of Indus Valley seal inscriptions (2600-1900 BC), discovered from Indus 
River Valley in Pakistan and Western India, mostly from Mohenjodaro in 
Sind, and Harappa in Punjab (both the sites are in Pakistan). Research is 
focused around geometric analysis of symbols. Report published as "From 
Sumer to Meluhha" (Madison: University of Wisconsin).
