Box Office Guru

Compilation of current and archived weekend box office receipts. The archives include figures since 1997. In addition, the site hosts a film database with comprehensive box office data on motion pictures released between 1989 and the present. Over 2,300 films are contained in this database and can be browsed alphabetically. The data is compiled from Exhibitor Relations and EDI and is updated three times each week: Thursday (upcoming weekend's summary), Sunday (post-weekend analysis with estimates), and Monday night (actuals).

Haddon: the online catalogue of archival ethnographic film footage: 1895-1945

Funded by the University of Oxford and most recently by the Economic and Social Research Council, and affiliated with the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, this computer database lists over 1500 ethnographic films and pieces of film footage shot between 1895 and 1945.
