How to submit a screening request
Screening requests must be submitted one week in advance and should be sent via e-mail to Nancy Friedland at nef4@columbia.edu.
When submitting requests, include:
- instructor's name
- course name and number
- name of individual to check out the title(s), if different from instructor
- date of intended pickup
Instructors must have an officer ID card.

- Film Literature Index -- The Film Literature Index indexes 150 film and television periodicals from 30 countries cover-to-cover and 200 other periodicals selectively for articles on film and television. The FLI Online contains approximately 700,000 citations to articles, film reviews and book reviews published between 1976-2001.
- Film Indexes Online -- Film Indexes Online brings Film Index International and AFI Catalog together in one site. The result of two distinguished partnerships with the British Film Institute (bfi) and the American Film Institute (AFI), Film Index International and AFI Catalog are cornerstone online resources for research in film. Searched together, they bring an unparalleled level of detail to your research and as companion sites they offer the most comprehensive and authoritative coverage of films available.
- International Film Archive -- Fiaf's International Film Archive is now available from LibraryWeb. The Film Archive includes several components including the records from the International Index to Film Periodicals from 1972, the companion index for TV, and the International Directory of Film and TV Documentation Collections. This is an incredible resource for locating film reviews, scholarly articles on films and filmmakers, film criticism, and theory.
