The report consists of two main sections: A chartbook containing text and figures that illustrates major trends in the health of Americans; and a trend tables section that contains 147 detailed data tables.
InvesText http://www.columbia.edu/cgi-bin/cul/resolve?AUZ7900 InvesText has reports on companies and industries written by analysts at investment banks. Use the ‘Advanced Search’ mode; select ‘Investment Reports’ as the content area’; type ‘pharmaceutical’ in the search box and select ‘industry description’ from the dropdown box on the right. You can also find reports on individual companies.

Click on ‘industry’ tab and select industry from the dropdown list. Look in left sidebar for link to the Industry Survey. The ‘Industry References’ section of the Survey lists all the magazines, books, associations, government agencies etc. that the S&P analyst uses to keep up-to-date on industry events. Note the variety of other reports available from Compustat.
Red Book: Pharmacy’s Fundamental Reference RS356 .D711 [Reference] Listings of more than 160,000 prescription and OTC drugs, medical devices, and accessories. Includes pricing information, suppliers, trade marked and generic names etc..
Reuters Research on Demand http://www.columbia.edu/cgi-bin/cul/resolve?APQ5971 Link to Reuters Research On Demand, also a database of investment analysts’ reports. May be screened by industry, by contributor [i.e. the investment bank], by country etc..
Wall Street Transcript http://www.columbia.edu/cgi-bin/cul/resolve?clio2239155 Each issue of this weekly features a Roundtable [discussion among industry watchers] on an industry as well as reports and analyses on companies, interviews with CEOs etc..
