Workshops in the DSSC will begin again in the Spring semester

The Digital Social Science Center (DSSC) offers various instructional workshops and consultations in a variety of topics and subject areas and at different user-competency levels.
Introduction to Bloomberg
Designed to teach the basic navigation and searching skills necessary to begin using Bloomberg

Designed specifically for researchers in the social sciences, this one-hour workshop offers a quick start on using this personal bibliographic software.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Introductory hands-on workshops using the ESRI ArcGIS suite, open source QGIS software, Google Earth, or SimplyMap covering topics such as geocoding, basic spatial analysis, cartographic design, and many others.
