Most of the databases listed below are subscribed commercial databases. Also included are several online resources, such as Ling Long Women's Magazine and Chinese Paper Gods, the end products of our own digitization projects.

In general, the system requirements for accessing the databases are IE browser of higher version and Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP; and computers of Columbia IP range, or through Columbia proxy connection, should be used. For many of our immediate users, trying more times is a useful way to learn how to use a database. Asking a librarian, attending bibliographic instruction sessions organized by the library is surely helpful.

If you have any access problems, an online form of Report Problems is required to be filled and submitted in order for Columbia Networked Electronic Resources specialists to know problem details and start troubleshooting. The librarian welcomes your ideas and comments on improving the collection of Chinese e-resources.
