Key Resources

Current statistics on New York City are difficult to locate. New York City agencies typically do not publish many statistical publications, with the exception of social service statistics. When they are published, the distribution is usually very limited. The best source for official NYC statistical print publications is the  City Hall Library, 31 Chambers Street. Retrospectively, the Index to Current Urban Documents is fairly comprehensive. An excellent place to look is at the web sites of the many Public Interest and Research Groups which focus on New York City.
