Donovan, Leisure, Newton and Irvine
An account of the founding of the law firm by various of its partners and associates, and in particular of the career of William Joseph Donovan (1883-1959) as a lawyer, as a military officer, and as director of the Office of Strategic Services during World War II. There is material also on the evolution of a New York law firm, and on the Department of Justice during the 1920s.
