Using Collections:  Class Visits

Faculty from Columbia University, Barnard College, and other educational institutions, or other interest groups, are welcome to arrange for special sessions in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library to make use of our holdings. Curators are available to help in finding materials appropriate to a wide variety of subject interests.

RBML has a class room that can hold up to 25 people which is available, upon request, during our regular opening hours. Arrangements can be made for larger groups elsewhere in Butler Library. For more information, please contact Jennifer B. Lee, Librarian for Public Services and Programs, jbl100@columbia.edu, or 212-854-4048. Please contact us as early as possible to schedule your session.

Faculty interested in giving class assignments involving RBML materials are asked to contact the Librarian for Public Services and Programs to discuss options and strategies.
