Accessing Our Collections

We are looking forward to the opening of the new, consolidated science library in the Integrated Science Building in 2010. In anticipation of that opening, we have closed the following locations: the Biological Sciences Library, the Chemistry Library, the Physics & Astronomy Library, and the Psychology Library.

These collections will continue to be developed, and our services in support of research and teaching will be relocated to other campus libraries until the new facility opens in 2010. Librarians supporting the affected disciplines will also temporarily relocate to other libraries.

The Biological Sciences Library is now closed.

• The Reserves collection is available in the Geology Library, located in 601 Schermerhorn hall.
• The Reference collection is available in the Reference section of the Engineering Library located in 422 Mudd. The current periodicals are shelved in the Engineering Library.
• The Biology monograph collection has been relocated during the summer and the most heavily used monographs are now in the Mathematics Library.

The Chemistry Library is now closed.

• The Reserves collection is available in the Math Library, located in 303 Mathematics.
• Current periodicals are shelved in the Engineering Library, 422 Mudd.

The Physics & Astronomy Library is now closed.
