Movie Poster Exhibition
Movie posters have been used worldwide to advertise films since the earliest days of moving images and the motion picture industry. Now on display on the third floor of Butler Library are nine posters selected from the Makino Collection, Starr East Asian Library, the Dan Talbot Collection, Rare Book & Manuscript Library, and a representation of current releases produced by Focus Features, the specialty films unit of Universal Pictures.
The exhibit will be on view through December, 2009.
