Read The Chronicle of Higher Education online

Columbia University Libraries provides both on and off-campus access to the online version of The Chronicle of Higher Education. Published weekly, The Chronicle is the academic world's top source of news and information. Columbia affiliates with an AcIS computer account and a University Network ID (UNI) may access this resource from a remote server.
The online version of the popular print journal, which is also available in the Columbia Libraries, features daily reports on developments in higher education, information technology, distance education, as well as regularly updated databases of grant opportunities, job announcements, and links to Internet resources for higher education.
The full text of the current issue of The Chronicle is available every Monday morning, following the Friday print publication. The current issue and the archive are both fully searchable, and the site also features an archive of more than 12 years of The Chronicle.
