(NEW YORK, January 25, 2008) Looking for an essay, a short story, or a play? Shorter works published in a

listed in the contents note, which is searchable by keyword:

Click on the full view for each record to see the table of contents for each
title:

Each essay or story in the contents note is followed by a slash and the author’s
name, which makes it easier to distinguish works about “the laugh of the
medusa” from the essay itself.

If searching by keyword for a play, essay, short story, or poem, does not retrieve
the work you need, Ask Us for assistance. The Library
offers many indexes to essays, plays, short stories, and poems, as well as bibliographies
devoted to authors, and we can help you locate shorter works as well.
