May I bring guests into the library?

Answer:

Columbia University students may bring members of their immediate families into the libraries. Students must obtain a reader’s card from the Library Information Office (LIO).

Columbia University officers may bring guests into the libraries. Officers should either accompany their guests to the LIO, or contact LIO staff via email or by phone in order to obtain guest privileges. LIO contact information.
