Reading rooms are wireless and located throughout Butler Library.  Drinks are permitted in spill-proof cups on the 2^nd – 4^th floors, no food or drink is permitted in the rooms on the 5^th and 6^th floors.

Reading rooms, 2^nd – 4^th floors:

• Milstein Undergraduate Reading Rooms are located on the periphery of the 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th floors. These rooms are open 24 hours during the Fall and Spring semesters.

• Periodicals and Microforms Reading Room is located in Room 401 in Butler Library on the 4^th floor. Check here for hours

Reading rooms, 5^th – 6^th floors:

• Research Reading Rooms – are subject-based research rooms  and hours are the same as Butler Stacks.  They include:

  • Early Modern/Modern Europe (Room 504)

• Rare Book and Manuscript Library Reading Room is located on the 6^th floor. Check here for hours.
