Matt graduated in 2008 and now works as a research assistant for our colleague and collaborator Chris Henderson.

ANINDYA SEN
POSTDOC (2005-2007)

sen
Anindya identified a cascade of RNA binding proteins that act as key regulators of synapse growth and function. The proteins he found are conserved in humans and are associated with neurological disease. Anindya is continuing his postdoctoral training at Harvard in the lab of our collaborator Spyros Artavanis-Tsakonas.

YANG LIU
UNDERGRADUATE (2006-2007) - RESEARCH
Yang
Yang worked in the lab as part of the SURF program and BIOL C3500. She was instrumental in a very successful screen for novel RNA regulators of NMJ structure. Yang is now working in Washington DC before attending Medical School.

PAUL (PAO-SHU) WU
GRADUATE STUDENT (2005-2006) MA Biotechnology
Pasted Graphic 2
Paul carried out his MA research on the "Development, Structure and Plasticity of a Drosophila Neuromuscular Junction Synapse" in the lab as part the requirements for his Masters Degree in Biotechnology from the Department of Biological Sciences, Columbia University. Paul graduated with honors and learned to love flies so much that he is now undertaking a Ph.D. on Drosophila nervous system development at the University of Cambridge, England.

NNAMDI OFFER
VOLUNTEER (SUMMER 2005)
Pasted Graphic 3
Nnamdi volunteered in the lab during the summer of 2005 and assisted in cloning novel synapse mutants. Nnamdi continues his studies at Penn State University.

SARA BRITTINGHAM
VOLUNTEER (2005)
Sara worked as a volunteer in 2005 and assisting in mapping neuromuscular junction mutants. Sara continues her studies at Ludwig-Maximilian University (LMU), Munich, Germany.

GABRIEL GASQUE
POSTDOC (2005-2007)
Gabriel was a postdoc from 2005 to 2007. He continues his training at Rockefeller University.
