Professors Jeff Kysar and Jim Hone are Honored by an Alumni Gift

A recent (2005) Mechanical Engineering graduate made a gift to the Engineering Annual Fund in honor of Professors Kysar and Hone. The donor expressed his appreciation for the encouragement and inspiration he received from both professors and the quality of his educational experience at ME.
The Engineering Annual Fund of SEAS provides critical funding for new initiatives and ongoing projects. Gifts from alumni and friends are used to support need-blind admissions for undergraduates, fellowships, recruitment and retention of top faculty, enhancement of lab facilities and breakthrough research. The funds give the Dean the flexibility to respond quickly to emerging opportunities and are vital to sustaining and enhancing the quality of the Engineering educational experience.
