The Medieval Guild is an interdisciplinary organization for graduate students in medieval studies.  We encourage participation from graduate students at all levels and in all departments at Columbia (or at other NYC universities).

We Sponsor:

  • Weekly meetings in which graduate students can present work in progress. This year we also have a Professional Development workshop scheduled. In the Spring we workshop MA Essays, and in the past have had meetings about Oral Exams as well. For this semester's Medieval Guild Calendar (as well as a list of related events of medieval studies interest!), please click here.
  • An annual graduate student conference.  The upcoming conference is scheduled for October 15, 2005.  See what happened at an earlier conference here.
  • The Columbia Medievalist's Essential Homepage with essential links to medieval resources on the World Wide Web.
