The Columbia University Mock Trial program is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its 5th Annual Big Apple Invitational on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Columbia Law School, located at 435 West 116th Street (Jerome Greene Hall). A map of campus can be found here.

CHALLENGE FORMAT
First round pairings will be decided based on a challenge system. Challenge order will be based on your team's 2007-2008 Bonus Bid Ranking.
FOOD
As in past years, we will be providing lunch during both days of the tournament. The fee for food is $16 per competitor, which covers both days of the tournament. Please include a payment for food in your registration check.
When you check in at the tournament, you will receive two lunch tickets for each of your competitors (one for each day). You will need these tickets to get lunch, so please do not lose them.

Public Transportation
La Guardia
NY Airport Service Express Bus runs every 30 minutes between 6:40am and 11:40pm. Cost is $10. Taxis are available 24 hours at taxi stands. They usually run $16-$26 + tolls & tip.The M60 Public Bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:50am to 1am and costs $2.00.
JFK
You can take the AirTran from JFK to the Jamaica Station, where you can transfer to the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). From there, you can take the LIRR to Penn Station, where you can transfer to the 1 Train. Take the 1 Train uptown to 116th Street/Columbia University. Approx. $12 total.
You can also take the AirTran from JFK to the Jamaica Station, where you can transfer to the E Train. From there, you can take the E Train to Penn Station, where you can transfer to the 1 Train. Take the 1 Train uptown to 116th Street/Columbia Universty. Approx. $7 total.
Taxis are available 24 hours at taxi stands. There is a $45 flat rate, not including tolls and gratuity.
