Welcome to the Columbia University Muslim Student Association's web page. The CU MSA is one of the oldest in the United States. Students from all of the various undergraduate and graduate schools at Columbia participate in the CU MSA, contributing to a wonderful example of the ethnic and cultural diversity of the Muslim Ummah (nation).

The MSA dedicates its efforts to creating a strong Muslim community on campus, helping Muslims strengthen their faith, gain knowledge about their religion, build Islamic character and interact with other Muslims. Additionally, MSA events are aimed at promoting an understanding of the oft misunderstood religion of Islam among all members of the Columbia community and providing community service. In particular, the MSA hosts jumma'a salaat on Fridays, weekly brothers and sisters Hifz classes, and a number of other events that you can find out about through our mailing list (see below) or on our announcements page.
