Prior to the establishment of the Willma and Albert Musher Program, Albert Musher contributed to and foster research conducted at the Center for the Study of Social Work Practice (CSSWP) which at the time was a joint program of the Jewish Board of Children and Family Services and the Columbia University School of Social Work. The CSSWP operated from 1989 through 2008.
