CASA Report on Substance Abuse in Schools to be Released

The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University (CASA) will unveil the results of its six year groundbreaking study, Malignant Neglect: Substance Abuse and America's Schools, on Wednesday, September 5, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C.

Joseph A. Califano, Jr., president of CASA and former U.S. Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare, will release the 110-page report that reveals that substance abuse will significantly increase costs of elementary and secondary education.
