Visual Arts Faculty Express Themselves in Wide Range of Media

The faculty exhibition that is taking place in the LeRoy Neiman Center from Oct. 1 through Oct. 26 shows the wide range of mediums expressed in the work by the Visual Arts faculty of the School of the Arts.

"Photogravures, silkscreens, sculptures, paintings, drawings and photographs are some of the mediums represented by this diverse group of 42 full-time and adjunct faculty. This show is an indication of how strong our faculty is at this moment. This alone would be a tremendous group show, the fact that they are all faculty here is incredible!" said Jon Kessler, associate professor and chair of the Visual Arts Division.

A total of 36 works will be on display in two separate shows. The first sixteen pieces will be on view from Oct. 1 to Oct. 12, with the opening reception on Oct. 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibition of the second sixteen works will run from Oct. 15 to Oct. 26, with the opening reception on Oct. 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
