As a service to Columbia students, the Columbia University Office of Government Relations, in conjunction with the offices of the Deans and the Center for Career Services, assists undergraduates in obtaining summer internships in the offices of Members of Congress.
Prospective interns must be students at Columbia College, Barnard College, the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, or the School of General Studies. Students wishing to obtain internships through the Congressional Internship Program must formally apply to the program through the Office of Government Relations by Wednesday, Dec. 5. Upon securing the approval of the student's Dean, students and the Office of Government Relations coordinate efforts to secure internships with legislators.
Additional information and application is available on the Government Relations website.
