LeRoy Neiman Center Hosts Photo Exhibition by WTC Victim

Untitled, Photography by Morty Frank, 2001

The LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at the School of the Arts is hosting an exhibition of photographs by Morty Frank entitled "Neighborhood," chronicling the journey of Frank through his local neighborhoods of Tribeca and the Financial District. This exhibition is on display through Jan. 19, in the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies, in Dodge Hall. A reception will be held Friday, Jan. 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Center.

Frank was an amateur photographer and an employee of Cantor Fitzgerald. His life was taken in the Sept. 11 attack on the World Trade Center. Proceeds from the sale of the photographs will support the Morton Frank-Neiman Traveling Fellowship, established by Columbia's Visual Arts Division to annually assist a young artist.

The Gallery's hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday – Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
