In celebration of Black Heritage Month events ranging from cinema nights to talent and fashion shows are being offered throughout the month of February. Below is a list of upcoming events.
Strange Fruit
Friday, Feb. 15, 9:00 p.m.
Join Alice and the Black Students' Organization in celebrating the art of spoken word. This event is free.

Black Heritage Month Fireside Chat: Women of Color and Women of African Descent
Tuesday, Feb. 19, 7:00 p.m.
Join the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta and Programs at Earl Hall for a discussion about the status of women of color and women of African descent today. Find out the issues that Women of Color and Women of African Descent face on a daily basis. This event is free, and seating is limited.
