Columbia and Barnard students are invited to attend the annual Columbia/Barnard & Cornell Student Lobby Day in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, April 10. Participants will take a bus to Washington for a day of meetings with Members of Congress or their staff. The trip includes a breakfast briefing with guest speakers who are recent Columbia alumni working on Capitol Hill.
Student Lobby Day offers a great opportunity for students to express their support for the federal student aid programs and learn about the legislative process.
The bus will depart from 116th Street & Broadway at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, and will depart Washington, D.C., at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10. All meals and lodging are provided.
