Institute for Research in African-American Studies to Screen Films by Professor Mira Nair

The Institute for Research in African-American Studies is offering screenings of films by internationally acclaimed film director, producer and writer and Adjunct Assistant Film Professor Mira Nair.

On Monday, March 11, the Institute will present "Salaam Bombay," and on Monday, March 25, there will be screenings of "Perez Family" & "Kama Sutra." Both events will begin at 6:00 p.m., in 754 Schermerhorn Extension.

On Tuesday, March 26, Nair will offer the 2002 Zora Neale Hurston Lecture, at 8:00 p.m. in Center's Davis Auditorium. The Zora Neale Hurston Lecture is offered annually in recognition of the many contributions of African-American women to history.
