The importance and scope of money laundering and covert international transfers of money and what governments should do about regulating the international flow of money will be examined during the sixth Reuters Forum of the 2002 series, entitled "Guns & Money: Tracking Underground Funds in a Borderless Economy."
Michael Mandel, economic editor at Business Week, will moderate the discussion. Panelists include: Walt Bogdanich, investigations editor for business at the New York Times, John W. Moscow, deputy chief of the Investigations Division of the New York County District Attorney's office, and John Moynihan, partner and founder of BERG Associates and an expert investigator of financial crimes.
The forum will be held on Wednesday, April 24, at 6:00 p.m., in the Third Floor Lecture Hall in the Journalism Building.
