Frank Moretti, executive director of the Center for New Media Teaching and Learning, says whenever there is a radical change in the transmission of education, there is a whole range of human effort to create environments that will culturally and physically support it. In this keynote address, entitled "Digital Media: Implications for Academia," at a Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) conference, "Bricks and Clicks: Challenges in the Digital Age," Moretti explains how, in today's digital age, we must become the inventors of education in the new medium.
