SEAS Hosts Day-Long Chemical Engineering Expo, September 19

On Friday, September 19, the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science will host the 2003 Chemical Engineering Expo. The event, which begins at 10:00 a.m. in Davis Auditorium, Schapiro Center, will include presentations by leading faculty on topics ranging from soft interfaces, biological diagnostics and genomic research to fuel cells and electrochemical engineering.

Alumnus Andrew Lovinger, director of the Polymer Program in the Division of Materials Research, will offer the keynote address at 1:00 p.m. in Davis Auditorium. The two-part address is entitled "Electroactive Polymers and Organics for 'Plastic Electronics' Technologies," and "Polymer Research and Education at the Dawn of the 21st Century."
