New Web Site, Open House Offer Details on Campus Plan and Study of Manhattanville in West Harlem Area
Columbia University has launched a Web site updating the University's campus planning efforts. The site provides information about the University's need for additional academic space, the proposed development of Manhattanville in West Harlem area and the ongoing collaborative process with elected officials, community leaders and groups, as well as faculty and student groups on campus. The site will be updated as the planning process continues.
On Friday, Jan. 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , the University will host an open house about the Campus Plan and Manhattanville in West Harlem . The event, which will take place in the Roone Arledge Auditorium of Alfred Lerner Hall, will consist of a series of kiosks staffed by University administrators and other members of the Campus Plan team. The kiosks will present different components of the plan, such as Columbia 's current need for growth and the economic benefits of the proposed development.
