38th Anniversary Reception of the Student Homophile League at Columbia, April 29

As part of Columbia University's 250th Celebration, the Columbia Queer Alliance and the CC/SEAS Division of Student Affairs would like to invite Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer (LGBTQ) alumni and supporters to a reception commemorating the 38 th anniversary of the founding of the Student Homophile League at Columbia .

Columbia University holds the distinction of having the oldest, continuous, LGBTQ student organization in higher education. This honor will be marked by the rededication of the Stephen Donaldson Lounge, and a historical presentation on the early LGBTQ movement on campus by Professor Rick Shur of Hunter College.

The event will take place 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 29, Alfred Lerner Hall, Room C555.
