CU to Remain Open, Observe 'Day of Mourning,' June 11
On Friday, June 11, Columbia University will remain open and will observe a "National Day of Mourning" for former President Reagan. St. Paul's Chapel will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those who wish to reflect there during the day. The U.S. flag and the Columbia flag will remain lowered for 30 days, in keeping with President Bush's proclamation that the U.S. flag be lowered.
