To the Columbia University Community:
At this time, Columbia University is open and operating on a normal schedule. Preparations to maintain the campuses are in place. We will continue to monitor weather conditions; if developments warrant a change in the decision to stay open on a normal schedule, we will announce the change as soon as possible on the Columbia website.
In the event of a snow storm there is an established policy and procedure for emergency closings of the University. Should it become necessary to close the University, except for essential services, further information as well as emergency closing procedures and policies will immediately be communicated to the University community through the Columbia University websites and information lines.
